4. In the Command Prompt window, look for the network information for the Ethernet Wireless Network Connection. The 'Physical Address' will be the hardware address of the network card.

2. In the System Preferences window, click on the Network icon.

3. In the Network window, make sure to set it to show the Airport configuration. Then click the "Advanced" button.

4. The 'Airport ID' will be the wireless hardware address.

How to register my wireless card
1. Go to http://wireless-reg.unl.edu.
2. Have the student log in with their Blackboard information. (Note: If the user is a visitor, there is also a 'Visitor Registration' link on the page.)

3. On the next page, click on 'Register A Card'.

4. On the next page, enter the hardware address of the wireless card. You do not need to type colons or dashes, it is not case-sensitive.

5. After clicking 'Next', the registration will take 10-15 minutes, after which the user will need to select the 'UNL-AIR' network on their computer. You should only need to connect manually once, but afterwards it will connect automatically since it is a preferred network.
