ResNet Wireless Registration

First, make sure the wireless card is "ON".

Choose an operating system below for details

...on an iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad

1. Click on the Settings button

2. Select General

3. Select About

4. Scroll down to see the listed "Wifi Address" -- this is what needs to be put into the registration

...on Windows XP

1. Go to Start, then Run

2. In the 'Run' window, type 'cmd' and press enter. This will open up the Command Prompt window.

3. In the Command Prompt window, type 'ipconfig -all'.

4. In the Command Prompt window, look for the network information for the Ethernet Wireless Network Connection. The 'Physical Address' will be the hardware address of the network card.

...on Mac OSX 10.5 & 10.6 Leopard & Snow Leopard

1. Click on the Apple in the upper-left-hand corner of the screen, then go to 'System Preferences.'

2. In the System Preferences window, click on the Network icon.

3. In the Network window, make sure to set it to show the Airport configuration. Then click the "Advanced" button.

4. The 'Airport ID' will be the wireless hardware address.

...on Windows Vista/Windows 7

1. Go to the Start Menu, and in the 'Start Search' bar, type in 'cmd'.

The program 'cmd' (Command Prompt) will be found at the top of the Start Menu; click on it to run it.

2. In the Command Prompt window, type 'getmac -v'.

3. In the Command Prompt window, look for the network information for the Ethernet Wireless Network Connection. The 'Physical Address' will be the hardware address of the network card.
